Pre-K, Preschool and Daycare
Forever Kids Academy is proudly owned and operated by a military veteran family. The school has been in business since 2001 and has grown thanks to supportive families that have either worked for us or entrusted the care and education of their children to us. The staff at Forever Kids Academy is proud to always offer the best of ourselves.
Our Story
Forever Kids is a family owned and run daycare, preschool and after school center. Late in 2001 Patricia Bunn, after decades managing multiple daycare businesses, decided to open her own daycare, preschool, and after school center in Raeford, North Carolina. With the help of her immediate family, as well as the newly formed Forever Kids family, she has successfully taken Forever Kids Preschool and Daycare from one 3-classroom sized building to a much larger 10-classroom building and After School Gym.
Meet The Family
The Bunn family works together in one solid effort to make the best daycare in the region. Below you can meet the family that makes it all happen and learn about how they make it happen. We consider everyone at our center part of our family, but we couldn’t fit such a large family here on the website altogether so learn where it all started with the Bunn family!
Patricia & Travis Bunn
Owners – Mom & Dad
Both centers are owned by Patricia Bunn and Army Veteran Travis Bunn. Patricia, having over two decades of Daycare Management experience, manages both centers with the help of her two daughters. Travis heads up the building maintenance and improvement side of this. Their son Travis III manages the online operations.
Kristina Bunn
Director – Daughter
Kristina, pictured with her son Bryce, is the oldest of the three Bunn siblings. She is also the first to have children making Travis and Patricia grandparents! Kristina manages the center, Forever Kids Preschool and Daycare, with her sister Tara Bunn.
Tara Mattocks
Director – Daughter
Tara, pictured with her first son Cameren and her husband George, is the middle child of the three Bunn siblings. Cameren is the second grandson of Patricia and Travis. Since this photo Tara has had a second child, Shannon. Tara manages the center, Forever Kids Preschool & Daycare, with her sister Kristina Bunn.
Travis Bunn III
Marketing Director – Son
Travis, pictured with his wife Brittany, is the youngest of the Bunn siblings and like his father an Army Veteran. Brittany & Travis have had their first son, William Bunn, on Dec 11 2020. Travis manages the Social Media, Website Development, IT Management, Advertising, and other Marketing needs of the center. Travis is also known to be recruited by his family for random repairs around the daycare when he is in town.

Young Age Programs
Infants & Toddlers
We accept children from the age of 6 weeks old.
Twos & Threes
General daycare services that involve daily activities that stimulate young minds is available for this age.
Preschool
We have both official NC Pre-K availability and also Private Pre-K that follows a similar curriculum.
School Age Programs
Before/After School
Our Raeford location offers before and after school care in which we both drop-off and pick-up your children. (From the Daycare to School and back)
Summer Camp
Summer Camp is available during summer months for ages up to 11 years of age. We take weekly field trips and provide your child with wholesome and interesting fun!
